What God Says About Me

You are made in God’s image. (Genesis 1:27)

I am created in the image and likeness of God.

You are loved with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)

God loves me with an everlasting, unchanging love.

You are forgiven in Christ. (Ephesians 1:7)

Through the blood of Jesus, I am forgiven and redeemed.

I am a child of the living God.

You are chosen. (Ephesians 1:4)

God chose me before the foundation of the world.

You are adopted into God’s family. (Romans 8:15)

I have received the Spirit of adoption. God is my Father.

You are a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I am a new creation. The old has passed away.

You are God’s workmanship. (Ephesians 2:10)

I am God’s masterpiece, created for good works.

You are saved by grace. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

I am saved by grace through faith, not by my own works.

You are righteous in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

You are justified. (Romans 5:1)

I am justified and have peace with God.

You are sanctified. (1 Corinthians 6:11)

I am sanctified and set apart for God’s purpose.

You are God’s temple. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

The Holy Spirit lives in me. I am God’s dwelling place.

You are an heir of God and co-heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)

I am an heir of God and a co-heir with Christ.

You are a light in this world. (Matthew 5:14)

I shine the light of Christ in the world.

You are salt of the earth. (Matthew 5:13)

I am salt on the earth, bringing flavor and truth.

You are strengthened by Christ. (Philippians 4:13)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

You are victorious. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
